Five Years of Hard Work, Building Dreams and Moving Forward JDLive Jingde Vision
2020 was a year none of us will forget. As the COVID-19 pandemic spread across the world, New Zealand moved quickly into lockdown. During this time, JDLive (Jingde Vision) became an important platform for the Chinese community in New Zealand, offering a sense of connection at a time when many felt anxious and isolated. Through live-streaming, JDLive created a space for sharing information, knowledge, and community updates, allowing people to stay connected while staying at home. It quickly became one of the most widely used Chinese community video platforms in New Zealand. Within six months, the platform attracted close to 30,000 registered users, with nearly 60,000 people using it overall. Around 800 live-streaming sessions were held, including one stream that reached more than 50,000 viewers. As an early leader in community-based live streaming for Chinese New Zealanders, Jingde Vision has continued to grow over the past five years, remaining committed to supporting and serving the community.

Major annual competitions, including the Miss New Zealand contest, as well as Chinese tennis, badminton, and Muay Thai tournaments, are streamed live exclusively on JDLive.
